General Questions

The tank on a single family home is sized by how many bedrooms you have. Usually a home with 3 bedrooms or less, will have a 1000 gallon tank. A home with 5 bedrooms or more will have a 1500 gallon tank. 4 bedrooms can go either way. We can always tell what size your tank is, by probing, and marking out the footprint of your tank, before we start any work.

To pump up to a 1000 gallon tank is, $350. up to a 1500 gallon tank is $450. This price is all inclusive. there is no hidden fees, and no bait and switch like so many other companies do. We do not charge extra for excavating the tank, or for how many hoses it takes us to get to your tank. (This of course is providing it is within reason. Not 6 feet deep, or 500 feet away.) You will ALWAYS be provided  a price up front before any work begins.

Estimates are always free. We are happy to discuss any project that you have in mind. Emergency estimates are usually provided on-site because every situation is different. We want to be as accurate as possible.

The short answer is, that it is recommended to perform routine maintenance on your septic system every 3 to 5 years.

The long answer is, that every family is different. Depending on the size of your family, and how you use the system, greatly affects how often you should pump the tank. We like to keep records on our clients. Get to know how your family uses the system, and tailor a maintenance plan to your needs. Just ask us how at your next service appointment.
